This delivery model is now being challenged by another model of cloud computing. Information Technology refers to the convergence of computer, communication, and content technologies that play a catalytic role in the emergence of new socio-economic applications.
The need of introducing IT as an elective subject to all the students of the Arts, Commerce and Science stream was felt earlier to build problem-solving skills among the students just before they enter the professional courses. Accordingly, the Textbook on IT was published as per the syllabus prepared by the CHSE (Odisha).
